In less than a year I've learned so much and been encouraged to push that as far as I want to. Tray cultivates personal growth and development and I love that. At the same time I am able to work flexibly around my family and finally enjoy a healthy work/life balance.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is clear passion and love for the Tray product and everyone involved in making it successful.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is space for everyone to be their authentic selves amongst others with similar traits or interests. No one is forced into a corporate box. Tray is a place where your personality, race, background, culture, gender, whatever difference you may have is not just accepted but celebrated.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working with Tray allows me to be build technical solutions that I couldn't personally achieve with code alone. I'm really proud to deliver such options to customers like me who need a low code answer to their needs. I'm learning all the time and my colleagues are incredibly supportive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There is no one in my team I would be reluctant to approach or ask for help. Everyone mucks in to get the job done. We all have a laugh and share our personal lives and interests. I think everyone in the team brings something extremely valuable to the table.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I took a significant reduction in pay as I love the product and culture at Tray, but in good faith that as Tray becomes more successful, this will be passed on to employees in the form of more competitive salaries. Currently Tray are paying way below market in my experience.
