Good listeners and always care for your well being.
Enthusiasm, passion, knowledge, communication skills
I have freedom to perform my tasks
communicatiing downstream. the execs here are out of touch with the greater community, and seem to only fend for themselves, with little to no concern for the personal stability of it's employ. They offer a lot of lip service to it though,
Staff at UCI are overworked and underpaid. The workload is massive, and we're told there's no money to hire additional people. Recognition is not enough when multiple staff members have nervous breakdowns. And stop hiring under-qualified and incompetent managers to save money on salaries.
To work together as a unit.
More compassion for their employees.
paid vacation and sick leaves
Retirement plan is very good
no acknowledgement of my skill set. workplace compliance is more important than professional performance. the level of trust between employees is next to non-existent.
I took 50% pay cut to work at UCI. Pay is not anywhere close to the market rate.
We are incredibly overworked. Every individual does the job of 3 people (or more). Management and senior leadership do not care as long as the bare minimum is achieved. The message is very clear: You and your contributions are not important enough to adequately support. We don't count.
more money would be good.
Easy to get along with.
Team work, passion and enthusiasm
Rank and file staff are amazing. We all pull together to get the job done, and we really care about each other. We trust each other's competencies and lift each other up.
Some of the teams are nice people
my coworkers would rather be right and control bad decision making than to listen to all people involved in workplace decision making, and create better solutions. people have been placed in positions based on nepotism and not merit.
they need to be more interactive and productive
Appreciate work from home policy and appreciate all small gestures of being appreciated.
passion, enthusiasm, knowledge and teamwork
The benefits are good, and there's less age discrimination. People are more open to hiring experienced personnel.
I get to perform my work at my pace and develop my project as I see it within limits
honest communication and a true team environment.
Be honest with employees. Empower employees. Change Dean Stamos and hire non corrupt individuals.
Questions were relevant to my work and the job posting.
encouraging, open, welcoming and organized
Nothing in particular. Average. Recruitment process takes a long time (at least six months, even for junior positions).
It is relaxed and you interact with all individuals in the workplace
Too many panel interviews and multiple steps. The online application process is not user-friendly.

Helping students get higher education
Being appreciated when a task is accomplished.
Learning experience, faculty, patients and coworkers
Workload is insanely heavy; hire more staff. Stop hiring under-qualified and incompetent managers just to save money. Put some actual effort behind the lip service paid to staff appreciation. Show us that we matter by actually supporting us instead of paying lip service to "recognition".
Bad leadership, poor facilities, poor patient care.
