Wagepoint has become more concerned about making the investors happy than doing what's best for its employees and customers. They don't value their employees. They brag about their company culture, but that consists of always agreeing with their decisions and being yes men. They don't like honesty.

Went downhill over the last few years

I love Wagepoint. Sure, it has it's downsides but there is no place I'd rather work!

Even just starting out with the company, I had ample PTO that lets me be flexible. The company is also great about compensation for travel to events since we don't have a centralized location.

Pay someone what they're worth. If they take on more responsibilities, their compensation should reflect that.

I spoke directly with the CEO as part of the interview process. Expectations were clearly set for my position, for the company culture and I was also given a genuine opportunity to ask any questions of the CEO or about the company, which did not go unnoticed. One of the most memorable interviews.
