Walmart Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

The process was fast thankfully

Face to face interviews instead of phone calls

my interview I hit the wrong Button was very positive

I was hired within 20 minutes of submitting my application online.

She was very pleasant and sufficient

There is no interview unless you go for a management position

its not that hard just be honest and be confident

Review from IT Dept

they will hire anybody so no problem

Review from Operations Dept

Very smooth process in the interview

That I felt welcome by hr personnel.

Quick easy option but now all changed

Review from Business Development Dept

The interviewer was nice amd polite

The ease of connecting to the interviewer.

Review from Customer Support Dept

It was so long ago, but they make it really easy to get a job there.

The Hiring Manager Was Easy To Open up To

Review from Product Dept

The people lead is very nice thats why i was excited about this job but reality turned different. Many other places for the same work pay more

Review from HR Dept

I was able to interview over the phone.

What I liked most about the Inerview was I was actually asked questions about my experience and what Would I do in any if any situation occured

I didn't interview I filled out application online called to check status and was offered a position

There was functionally no interview process. This has the pro of applicants being hired and onboarded quickly; it also has the cons of denying applicants the opportunity to see if the company will be a good fit and denying management the opportunity to weed out applicants who aren't good fits.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Telling the truth about scheduling and expectations would be an improvement.

Touching more specific points of interest for the worker

To show more at the interview prosses and be there for the new ones they hire

Review from Sales Dept

Better people Lead and one who will help Workers eveeyone complains about her

Verify if a person is hireable or rehireable before offering a job.

Change the culture and unionize

Horrendous response time expect months of silence.

I thought this was a Walmart review. What does this question have to do with Walmart

Taking the time to get to know the person better. Feels and seems like a assembly line. Get them in get what we can out of them, because we know people normally don't last.

The kind of HR Associate you have in your stores that play FAVORITISM and don't know company policies and are always to busy for associates who aren't their besties and are never there when needed

Have a HR associate that's there 8hrs day in store and one that doesn't play FAVORITISM and is actually knowledgeable about their job

There was not much of an interview. Merely tolde in order to get hired I had to completely open up my availability. Since it was the beginning of COVID, I did, but then I could not get any Sundays off. I am lucky to have 2 days off in a row.

Review from Operations Dept

Ask employees more questions about why they want to work there.

There needs to be more communication.

promote from within the company to show the new employees they can have a future of not living paycheck to paycheck

I would improve everything about the company

Train us in what we will be doing, tell us the bylaws that we have to follow instead of punishing or writing up people for policies that are arbitrarily enforced by the management.

More in depth questions, and questions to gauge personality better.

Clear defined responsibilities for said compensation and bonuses for working outside what you signed up for

Try to be more personable
