Walmart Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

customers can make things better if they are understanding and energetic

Most people are really nice about showing the receipts and letting us check to make sure everything's been paid for once in a while. You get someone that is a very rude about it cusses at us or is it extremely rude?

The management team is always there to help

The customers are very pleasant and nice

Food discount. Air conditioning is nice. It's a clean, decent lit place to suffer in. Stock option is working out. Walmart radio makes a difference

Review from Customer Success Dept

always smiling and overcome the obstacle

Review from IT Dept

The only thing I can say is positive is the family environment that most of us have with each other

Review from Sales Dept

It’s so much friendly in such a big compa

That we all work hard and smart.

inclusive, communication, walk the talk

Coworkers are Friendly caring, overall acceptable

Everyone works together as a team to create the best experience for the customer as possible.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I honestly couldn't find one for this. I hate the culture at my company and the culture leadership has created in my workplace. As for my environment, I work in a warehouse with no air conditioning or heating. With a new policy that we can't have dock doors open, summers are the worst.

Cooperate comes through and fixes things and show us ways to learn to manage our store better.

Feeling accomplshed after completing my shift made me wanna reach bigger goals

That we sometimes all get along

The positive thing is that the employees create a good work environment.

We are open to try new things and are always looking to improve.

I have nothing good to say

can't get constant answers regarding how to handle customer satisfaction

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Care about your employees and their personal time also give paid holidays so we dont have to use our slowly accrued pto bucket

Hire people with work ethics, and bump up the pay rate. Also if the employee is bilingual they need to get paid for that too

Review from Customer Success Dept

Respect and Integrity are most needed

Management needs to change immediately

Better leadership they all need to be replaced

Review from Product Dept

Better leadership, maybe more incentives

We need to get more people in our departments in order to be effiicent

Points for calling into work, Some people don't have a choice. It's not okay to punish people who need that mental or emotional break from work. Also, some people have kids that get sick and they have to call in, getting points for having to take care of sick kids is ridiculous.

Review from Sales Dept

Give me training in other departments.

A fair work place where rules apply to all

Easier info access, it's very hard to find out what's going on if everything is not in one place.

Everything this place is disfunctional

Letting the associates make suggestions on what needs to be done and giving their input on changes. Being able to talk to corporate when they visit the store. Communication goes a long way.

Get rid of all management. Get people that actually care about their employees and all the hard work they do everyday.

Better management. Treat employees better.

Walmart culture needs to be reintroduced the stores associates and mostly to store leaders. They seem to have lost the importance of the business and the job.

We want to be treated and respected as people.

Just about everything. Better schedule, time and half for holidays, better leadership. An ethics committee that cared.

Review from Operations Dept

More employees in depts to help keep it organized

Pay. Working with those that need help and actually help. Accountability. Bonuses.
