Q&A With WideOrbit Employees

WideOrbit employees answer questions about what life is like behind the scenes at their company, including queries about culture, leadership, professional development, and compensation.

How employees describe working at WideOrbit

excellent would be an understatement

If you fall out of favor, they will find a way to push you out. Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) is their method to fire you. It's not to help you improve or help you at all, you will be fired no matter how hard you try to do your best to improve. It will not matter so just know PIP is to help you

Mixed. True love and hate, but isn't that all companies.

Everyone is friendly and easy to get along with. We are all here to help and this attitude comes across from the Exec team down.

Great vision and focus customer referenceabilty

Asked to the Operations Department at WideOrbit

  • Layoff occurred due to poor investment and direction because the CEO doesn't know anything about the industry. Executive Management just collects paycheck and bonuses. Company still operates as if it is a start-up.

  • Poorly. Without warning. Every three years they will layoff 10% of the company because they made poor investments into new products that didn't pan out.

  • This is a silly question. The last time there were layoffs at WideOrbit, they were for performance and it was in 2008
