Learned a lot, but this company does not have your best interest. They don't care about their staff but will have the audacity to say "we're a family". I watched this company LOSE its talent on a monthly basis.
What makes you most happy at work?
My co workers and not working with my GM.
What did you like most about the interview process?
My initial GM who hired me was very calming and personable.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Paying their staff a living wage, eliminating the wage gap, providing better benefits and making sure their workers feel valued.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team was friendly, smart, and all creative. They all delivered results that comp'd our store and provided excellent customer service.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Making a living wage and not being "talent hoarded". This company does not promote from within and finds external candidates to take over stores.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
This company needs to VALUE their team, their associates and asst. managers were the ones comp'ing the store. The GM, DM, VP etc. are the ones that created the hostile work environment. They should pay a living wage and not be so obvious about the bonuses that they give themselves.
