While I enjoy my work and have been fortunate to work with good people the company is lacking in ethics. When whistleblower complaints were filed by a colleague the company found a way to terminate him (we were in the middle of a possible merger with Aon), that left me very disappointed in the firm.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I got to meet the whole team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The firm's wages are lower than our competitors, even the bonuses and annual merit increases are pitiful despite receiving glowing reviews.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I work remotely so culture can be a little hard to "feel", but our team tries to create it via meetings, activities and other virtual means.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My immediate leaders are thoughtful, supportive and caring. The executives make it very clear it's all about money, cutting expenses, running short staffed and rewards aren't worth working for.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is very collaborative and supportive. Everyone is willing to jump in and help. Our team has a lot of talented minds, so it's fun to learn from my colleagues.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love to learn and there are always opportunities for me to learn new skills or expand upon current ones. I have great colleagues so it's a pleasure to work with them.
