I am thankful for my job. It is a challenging role. I learn something new each day. I appreciate those who take a moment to say "thank you" for the extra duties that I do.

This is a good company. There are some of us who feel a bit taken advantage of due to having to do many jobs that are not part of our job description. Overall, it is a good place to work though.

They communicate well with the whole corporation.

Benefits are good. Pay is reasonable.

Time off is the best part. First Merchants is very fair with giving plenty of vacation and sick time.

They are visible within the corporation. They look at employees as equal across the board. They are nice and respectful when visiting our region.

Benefits are one of the main reasons I stay here. After many years with the corporation, my pay is finally at a level that it should be.

I have been in a role for several years now. Another co-worker and I now are expected to not only do our role but serve as receptionist for our entire floor. We do not receive assistance from other departments even though there are several on our floor. Others can work from home, but we cannot.

I am doing two jobs most days. My co-worker and I have taken on an additional role that no one else across our footprint has to do. We are expected to do our role in addition to many other duties that take us away from our role. We are allowed two remote days but cannot take them most weeks.
