
The team is very hardworking and a collection of the top talent in each of their own perspective fields. They are overworked but maintain a sense of optimism and perseverance.

The company is overly optimistic from the outside and avoids discussing real issues with executive team. Most feedback from the working group through management is problems that have already been solved. This allows people to always have a solution when confronting a problem publicly.

I have received offers for employment with other companies that are between 20-40% more then current compensation. The benefits are for the most part satisfactory but the permissive time off policy is not matched but a culture that supports holidays in practice. What is said is not what is done.

Most of the work day is spent listening to mangers discuss allocation of resource or pushing documents around the company. The percentage of doers to managers is inverted. Often times 1 engineer is being pulled around by 4 managers. I spend more time getting things cleared with management then work.

The leadership team needs to get more realistic with goals of quality and safety. Adding more positions in these fields does not solve the issue. You have to have the core of the work force to drive the change. This will cost time and money. Saying other wise is avoiding reality.
