I started at SPS Commerce in 2008 as a Fulfillment consultant, promoted to Sr. in a year, moved onto another team the next year, promoted to Sr. on that team in 2 years. Then I moved into project management. I was promoted to Sr. in 3 years and then most recently promoted to Engagement Manager.

The best part I would say is flexibility. Being trusted to get my work done, even if I have appointments or other things I need to do- my manager trusts that I will get my work done or that I will ask for help where needed.

Our team is supportive of each other, collaborative and trustworthy. We trust each other to do our jobs and to get done what needs to be done. We help each other out when and where needed. No one looks down on you for asking questions or asking for help.

In 2022/23- what has been tough is inflation. It's important to understand that our money doesn't go as far. I am seeing expenses increase everywhere. On top of that our work is ever increasing. So making sure we are paid what other project managers are in similar industries is important.
