What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Company is run like an investment, not like a place where people should want to make long term careers. All emphasis is on business goals and very little on employee development.

Paying people fairly. I am about 30% below market rate in my position. There are no bonuses and benefits have gotten worse. My merit increase was 1% this year. We always talk about another quarter of growth but why should the average employee care?

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do extra work for the HR department but this not changed in my contract yet. Needs to be changed and put the tasks that I do also in my contract and paid fairly for this extra work.

there needs to be a chance for bonuses or additional monetary gifts as an hourly employee, medium/low wages are a common theme for individual contributors

Set clear expectations. Put less emphasis on rank and title, be less demeaning to lower level employees.

I prefer working alone so I don't look forward to interactions. Some are amazing, some do the bare minimum and complain a lot so it balances out to average.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
There's a lot of emphasis on management, but very little emphasis on leadership - there's a difference! At least in my department it seems like people think they look good by making others look bad - there isn't a 'rising' tide mentality.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I work in a part of the business that isn't customer-facing, so there's a lot that could be improved. We do a ton of manual work since our infrastructure is very old. Not great for morale and not a great place to develop your career.
