My initial salary offer was low and disrespectful. Raises are small compared to inflation. They tend to inflate employees' job titles instead of proper compensation. People here often quit and come back after SPS offers significant raises.

Context as a new hire: When I was hired, my offer was $5000 less than what my current pay was. I feel like losing the $5000/year was more of a demotivator than anything. I won't miss that $5k biweekly but feel a little nickel and dimed when I am giving 110% to SPS.
