I was vastly underpaid for the sheer amount of work I did with no compensation provided in any way. Words are nice, but I never received any kind of incentive. Remote teams never did. Only the HQ. So much for supporting community and remote workers equitably.

Being accountable for the big mistakes that cost others their jobs. Following up on their word. Don’t promise a written recommendation and not do it. It just confirms what I already felt was the truth: the executive team fails to support non-executives and the company suffers for it.
