Overall, First Merchants has been very good to me. I believe there is a lot of frustration at First Merchants with internal processes and procedures that create unnecessary delays and poor customer interactions.

Overall, we do a lot of things very well, but there are some basic things that can be improved on to create a better experience at work. Our systems are cumbersome at times and we have too many technical outages. It feels like our operating systems are consistent with a $5B bank, not a $19B bank.
