I started as a teller with FMB and worked my way into operations. I have felt like I had the support of my teams every step of the way and also any help I've needed. My managers have done whatever they can to ensure a positive work environment.

We have good health insurance premium amounts that are affordable. I'm also glad that we have paid maternity leave now.

I think it is very easy to tell that everyone cares about each other and one another's success. Even in difficult situations, things are handled with grace.

I think my hourly wage is fair compared to what I see others in my position making. I also like the bonus structure I have now in my current position.

I think even though I am a full-time remote employee who doesn't get a lot of in person interaction, I know my team is always there for me and willing to help.

I like that I have the ability to work from home now and better work life balance. I have a solid team of good workers and my manager is always willing to help.

In all positions I've had at FMB, people have always been willing to help and collaborate with you in whatever capacity they can. I feel like our ideas are valued and management is constantly looking for ways to improve.

I think over the past two years the culture of First Merchants has changed dramatically for the better. The leadership team seems to be more open to new ideas and to ways of bringing in new talent, and working to retain what they already have.
