I love FMB as a company. It offers a lot more than most companies in the area. I wish I had more support from my direct supervisor. I don't feel like they listen
Overall, it is a great company to work for
Seeing the ream happy and engaged
The executive leadership team shows interest in individual employees
The company in general seems to foster a family feel
My direct staff and being recognized for things I accomplish
My Co-Manager is difficult to work with and does not communicate well
They are all bright, inquisitive and bring their best selves to work each day.
I really enjoy working with my staff. I wish I had more time to dedicate to them
The communication to keep people informed is just not there. Things are not being communicated out in a timely manner
When my position was evaluated it was lumped in with a general role. My role is complex and requires being a subject matter expert in many areas
I think I have a fantastic team that is easy to work with. Relationships with other department managers can be a little strained as we don't have the same standards for staff
I keep myself involved with EAC, ERGs and other activities to try to keep engaged. My direct staff is amazing for the most part. I also am able to keep growing professionally through outside classes
What we do in our department for the company requires a lot of skill , a wide knowledge base and how to apply it. Our department is paid less than other areas within bank. An increase in compensation would be warranted.
Communication is horrible. They are rolling out items that have not been approved, not in office when their staff is and do not communicate when staff is out. They also do not follow WFH guidelines and do not address issues with their staff
I feel like my work isn't appreciated and the more I do to try to go above and beyond, it becomes expected. Wage for our department are just now near what the market rate is. I could drive a half hour more and earn more money.
On my annual review, I received an exceeds expectations, but the raise was less percentage wise than staff members that received solid. The director told us to give the staff the max percentage for their rating and moved the buckets around to give others more than the max
