My coworkers make me happy at work.
Communication is highly lacking. Being prepared as well as making those who have been with the company a long time feeling valid. They also are not compensated accurately.
I have been with the company for a long time. I am not paid with the work that I do for the company. The value that I bring should be paid more.
I will say FMB is getting out of the stone ages for culture and diversity. I would encourage them to continue to grow and be one with the times and being all inclusive.
My team, manager, and director. I also love what I do. Previous position with the company I would drive to work crying. Now I wish I had more time in the day to work.
As the CEO you should be invested in your employees. While you cannot know all your employees, you should still make an effort. Do monthly lunches with your employees. Teachers Credit Union did this and their President/CEO was in South Bend. They paid for hotel and transportation. Give a little.
My team is the best in the company. Handling more customers and calls and accounts than anywhere else combined. Customer Care only got a small blurb in the town hall PDF. You treat CC like ugly ducklings of the company. Without them, what would you do? Had no one to answer DMI or LVL1 calls....
Skill + Value + Review + Tenure = Pay. If someone has dedicated the most of their adult life to a company, I would think they would want to retain that person. A new hire should not be making the same as someone who's been with FMB for 5 years. They have helped FMB prosper, FMB hasn't for them.
