We all feel we are in the same situation. We often commiserate with each other on decisions made over our heads and without our input. Carrying out bad decisions made by armchair generals over and over again is exhausting.
Helping my team in the field to make sales. I enjoy being with the reps as they make calls and engage directly with the customers. It gets me out of the same day to day things I do not enjoy doing.
Better understanding of what the employees are dealing with "on the street" as they say. There is very little understanding or empathy of how decisions at upper levels impact employees in the field. When the consequences of these decisions are pointed out nothing is done to correct them.
