Great company, but would love more competitive benefits rather than having benefits modified/taken away. Would love more inclusivity around remote work and not limiting it to people out of state. Great career advancement and always something tow work and contribute to.

The company itself is great when you think about the specific work you are hired to do. The desire to move towards societal trends as a part of "work culture" is not great. I miss when the company used to be more politically neutral. Now SPS is slowly becoming like every other ESG focused company.

The best part of the culture and environment is the move to working remotely!

The ability to work closely and learn from leaders. This isn't common at most corporations.

Everyone is kind, understanding, smart and willing to roll their sleeves up to get things done. On top of that, they are amazing individuals that you want to spend time with both at work and outside of work.

Perks/benefits benefit the company, not employees. HR seeks to save company money, not the employees. Some leaders don't approach with empathy, which comes off as abrasive, inconsiderate, and not compassionate when employees want transparency. Evident in employee mass communications & bandaid solves

My team has a good variety of people with strong knowledge in their areas of expertise and they bring interesting perspectives to the team which makes us very powerful when we combine our skills together. Everyone can have fun together and encourage one another.

Best part of my compensation package is that the salary itself is technically competitive, although with inflation it has now diminished and the "perks" the company offers is now being offloaded to the employees meaning we get less pay and pay for more basic things.

The ability to learn and grow your career. Managers are very understanding and want your to succeed and be happy in your role. They will provide you with more learning opportunities that will help you become more well-rounded as an employee. Growth and development is great at SPS.
Qu’est-ce qui vous plaît le plus dans l’équipe de direction?
I like that half of the leadership team shows genuine care and understanding towards their departments and how they can encourage positive work as a team and be accommodating, but the other half seems to be consumed with politics, ESG scores and their personal agenda: not showing care to others.
