I'm so unhappy and feel so unheard by my leadership team. The feedback I receive during my weekly 1:1 meetings with my manager doesn't correspond to the feedback I get at my annual review - I assume so that I can receive less of a merit increase. I feel unvalued.

There doesn't seem to be anywhere else to provide this feedback but the new healthcare plans under United are AWFUL. United informed us they wouldn't cover my daughter's PT because 'she's not showing improvement.' She has Cerebral Palsy. It doesn't get better. BCBS covered those for 15 years.

Company wide, I appreciate the commitment to combatting racial injustices through trainings and learning sessions. Team wise, I appreciate the understanding that family comes before SPS.

Within the smaller section of our larger team, I appreciate the banter and that everyone is willing to pull together to accomplish goals and help each other.

That we've bonded over how unavailable our manager is; the fact that his manager will do nothing about our manager; and that HR completely lacks the ability to cut through red tape to retain quality employees.

4 people on my team were recently promoted to the same job level - 2 men, 2 women. Men are worth an X% promotion increase. Women are worth an X-2% promotion increase. Health insurance that covers anything.

I feel like starting with not paying the men more than women with no explanation as to what the men are doing better than the women would be a great start. Having a manger who doesn't miss important meetings with no notice because he's making his kids lunch would also be great.

The workload is too much. 10 hour days should not be the standard. Underperformers should be on PIPs and removed instead of teams operating with a full head count taken up by someone who can only complete 25% of a head count's work. Finally, a way to retain employees on the team is vital.

I understand that I'm good at my job. At times, it feels like my only reward for being good at my job is more work without more compensation. I truly don't mind helping out but I'm also not a robot. And I shouldn't be used to enable underperformers so mgmt doesn't have to have hard conversations.
