Philippine Compensation and benefits are pathetic compared to other countries.
Very little micromanagement from managers, employees are free to do their work as they see fit
Aligning compensation and benefits with US counterparts, or at least local Philippines companies e.g. most IT companies in the Philippines have 14th and 15th month as well as performance bonuses
need to get better in making employees from acquired companies to feel better about the move, as well as aligning benefits and compensation. So far Philippine employees seem to be an afterthought two years after the acquisition
