Overall, SPS has been a great place to work! It is a growing company, but it still has small company vibes. There is a connectedness among employees and a drive to succeed. SPS makes its company values the forefront of its operational plan and really leans in to executive that vision
People generally get along and work together well
Interacting with people in person and solving customer problems
Being able to be flexible about my hours and getting in my 8 hours at a time frame what fits my needs is awesome!
The leadership team is very active and present at SPS. You know who they are and they are transparent about the direction of the company
Our team is very open and supportive. People are wiling to jump in and help whenever you ask. It is easy to actually relax on PTO because you know the team has your back.
Being able to see the results of this role. In a previous role, the metrics for success were unclear. In my current role, I am directly able to see how my work impact positive sales outcomes!
I think the hourly wage is competitive and fair. I appreciate the parking benefits and the Foodsby benefits for coming in to the office. I am glad that there is an employee purchase stock plan with a great price!
I have a master's degree and even though it is not in a business field, I feel like my master's degree should be accounted for in my compensation. I also feel like looking at pay for similar positions at other companies, SPS is on the low end of the spectrum
Being able to help others and work towards a common goal. I really enjoy working on a team, even if the work is mainly individual work. There is a lot of support and willingness to help out to make sure things get done. Interacting with people really energizes me!
I appreciate the willingness of all of my team members to answer my questions. As a newer employee, it is great to learn how to do my job from people with experience who are willing to be helpful. I appreciate coming into the office and getting in-person time with my team!
SPS makes a clear and conscious effort to welcome all people from all backgrounds. I think the KMTBM sessions are very helpful to keep the company moving in a unified direction. The employees come first mentality is very clear to me and helps to create a very positive and inclusive culture.
It is a collaborative space. I think the creation of the Revenue office has been one of the smartest moves because it is brining Sales and CS into actual alignment and forcing conversations that had previous been ignored. There is a clear value to emphasize team work and getting things done
As a former teacher, who has a master's degree, I am currently making less than I did annually while I was teaching. I took this job to get away from teaching, but the low salary is making me start to consider finding another job at a company where I am paid more competitively
The leadership team at SPS is very approachable! They want to be visible in the company and stay connected. As a newer employee, it is a big deal to me that the leadership team took time to sit down and have coffee with the new hires. It makes it clear they care about all employees!
