Getting some sort of recognition for success.
I don't know a lot about the leadership team other than rules or reports they pass down.
We have really smart and hardworking people. We don't share workloads so no stress about that. Almost all are friendly and quite a few are friends outside of the office.
We have very strict rules in place to protect from harassment, politics, religion, and other negative influences. In the past I had jobs that made it clear that you had to agree or put up with these things or get out. The diversity of having all people and respect for all is wonderful.
I know that new hires are being offered thousands of dollars more for the same role I currently have. I have years with the company. I also know that my position takes a very high level of skill and I very much enjoy the challenge but don't enjoy being paid/categorized as entry-level when it's not.
The interviews were wonderful. It was just a very long and drawn out anxiety inducing waiting game. You have no idea if you did okay, if you got the job, when you will hear back from something or anything. Sometimes you don't even find out you didn't get the position until you see the one hired.
