Overall I am very privileged to have secured a job when the market was good and my overall comp was high (even though no stock options). There are lots of ERGs and positive advertising about those ERGs, there seems to be compelling diversity initiatives re: hiring practices. We have Monday and Friday rituals to come together as a company and have fun presentations. We use Lattice for positive feedback/shoutouts!

I like that the two company co-founders are latinx and first generation. I like that Scott seems personable and seems to care about the employees who work here. I like that they seem committed to the company's success and the product's development and enhancement.

What makes me most happy at work are my interactions with the customers and colleagues who are friendly and kind, and also the knowledge that I am being compensated for my work. Compensation is why literally anyone works under capitalism - so we can afford to live.

STOCK OPTIONS! Let employees have stock options again. The 401k match is only $500 per year. There is pay inequity across teams with the same roles and levels of experience i.e. folks' with more work experience making less in the same role, making it seem like our work is inconsistently evaluated.

My team is full of smart, enthusiastic, and hardworking people. At the same time, in a digital first environment there is a lot of flexibility and understanding when it comes to shifting internal meetings if life gets in the way, and there is not often a false sense of urgency from colleagues.
