I like that the two company co-founders are latinx and first generation. I like that Scott seems personable and seems to care about the employees who work here. I like that they seem committed to the company's success and the product's development and enhancement.

STOCK OPTIONS! Let employees have stock options again. The 401k match is only $500 per year. There is pay inequity across teams with the same roles and levels of experience i.e. folks' with more work experience making less in the same role, making it seem like our work is inconsistently evaluated.

I have brought more value to my team than most of my colleagues, yet did not receive a raise nor promotion during the last review cycle. We are already severely underpaid compared to industry standards and it does not seem like Drift is invested in retaining their employees.

My team is full of smart, enthusiastic, and hardworking people. At the same time, in a digital first environment there is a lot of flexibility and understanding when it comes to shifting internal meetings if life gets in the way, and there is not often a false sense of urgency from colleagues.

I'm newer to Drift and I've had multiple peers reach out to schedule time with me to ensure that I have the resources I need. Their only incentive for doing so is that my success is tied to Drift's overall success, which is a level of ownership I've never experienced elsewhere.

There are lots of ERGs and positive advertising about those ERGs, there seems to be compelling diversity initiatives re: hiring practices. We have Monday and Friday rituals to come together as a company and have fun presentations. We use Lattice for positive feedback/shoutouts!

Drift does so much to listen to the needs and put into action policies and benefits and processes to help the employees manage work and life, etc. There is flexibility when needed re: schedules, and they emphasize taking time off to recharge.

What makes me most happy at work are my interactions with the customers and colleagues who are friendly and kind, and also the knowledge that I am being compensated for my work. Compensation is why literally anyone works under capitalism - so we can afford to live.
