I love the work that I do and the people I do it with. I am, however, disappointed with the wage compression between my team and myself due to the significant raises they have received in the last 18 months.
I love working in my local banking center, I just wish we were able to be as engaged in the smaller communities as in past years,
They are other's focused and truly care.
My team genuinely cares about one another!
working together to achieve a common goal.
Their transparency with regards to leadership.
Their open mindedness and flexibikity.
The diversity across the board.
Executive management seems to care about our work life balance.
Truly it is helping my customers prosper and working with my team.
We work well together and each team member genuinely cares about each other's success.
Helping our clients prosper by finding solutions to needs they didn't even realize they had.
I believe they really are trying to create a culture where everyone feels valued by implementing initiatives to help create work life balance, however, these intitiatives are not realistically going to impact the frontline consumer team.
Ask for feedback from the people who actually work in the banking centers day in and day out for feedback on what could make our jobs easier as well as what impact those changes might have on our client base.
It seems just about everyone on the consumer team have been given significant raises within the last 18 months with no added responsibility. Managers have had quite a bit more expected of them in the way of job duties with no additional compensation. SAs have doubled their salaries.
Ours SA teams received almost a 50% increase in pay in the past two years. CRRs received quite a significant increase as well with really not much in the way of additional responsibilities. While I am happy for my team, I feel that more has been piled on managers with no increase in pay.
I feel with my years of experience and the increase in what is being asked of managers as well as the significant increase in pay for SAs and CRRS, that my pay as a manager is a lot less competitive. And with the change in pay grade, I am now near the bottom of the pay scale with 34 years experience
