I'm happy to be here at Malouf. People here are happy and for the most part motivated to do their best work. It's an energizing environment. When I've had concerns I've felt I've had opportunity to talk through them and receive valuable advice.

Briefly? It's the most satisfying place I've ever worked. I'm serious.

When I'm able to change a broken system, or repair one that's out of date.

The healthcare coverage is the best of the best. I'm a big fan of the daily delicious lunch.

We are all interested in creative the best quality of work, so we're often collaborative and helpful to each other.

I'm here to do my best work and further my skills in my role. That makes me excited and motivated to be here.

I see my future here, and for the most part it's a happy future worth working towards. I'm excited to get to work and try to create my best work each day.

We work together to make more valuable work than I could ever make alone. I feel Malouf employees at large are excited to be here and are here to do their best work.

I appreciate the fact that Malouf is selective about their employees. If people are here to work hard and do good they generally do well. Misconduct doesn't seem to be tolerated, which makes for a healthy group of people to work alongside.

As far as my direct manager and executive teams go, they are all top tier. I will say though, I work with many different departments, and often feel I'm being managed by many different team leads at once. This can get confusing as I'll receive conflicting input.

"culture" is a fun word that a lot of companies throw around. At Malouf, it's actually true. It's not just some silly marketing ploy to potential employees. I spend more time here than I do at home sometimes. And I'm not sad about that. It's a great place to be.

People are here to do their best work. I love that Malouf does not tolerate misconduct in the workplace. People who are not professional or are here to break rules generally don't stick around for long. That leaves us with hard working people who are easy to get along and work with.

I feel like Malouf offers a fair and competitive wage for my role. In an ideal world, I wouldn't have to work so much freelance on the side. That being said, that may not be a realistic expectation. I feel there are opportunities to voice my goals and to get advice on compensation.

By necessity I put 4-5 hours almost every night into side work outside of Malouf. This is just to pay the bills, and has led to quite a bit of burnout all around. I've asked for a raise and hope to find myself in a better situation in the future. I don't doubt I will.

My immediate team mates definitely have helped me do better work than I ever could alone. The Malouf team as a whole seam to all be working to do their best work. Sometimes I feel there are too many voices in some meetings, but for the most part people here work hard and help each other.
