
The pivotal people actively trying to make things better are all leaving for other companies because the work is not valuable, bureaucratic, and 2-3x what they were doing before the merge with no commensurate compensation increase. Demand less dumb work, expect less to get done, or pivot togoodwork
Their goal seems to be to flip the company for resale instead of make it function better. The merge caused so many voluntary leavings of critical people--people that actually moved the company forward were not fostered, not respected, not compensated and just left. Why stay when there's 3x bad work
Less dumb work catching up, meeting, reviewing, slide deck creating and more smart work figuring out how to sell more of a better product. "We've been doing it" is not enough to justify doing it more if there are no results, no change in behavior or sales or anything actually valuable
