Asurion: The company overall is fantastic but women in technology are not treated fairly unless we manufacture a sort of masculine ego and brag about all of our accomplishments even when a documented history of work exists. We have no real metrics and iur success is based on how much attention our work gets

This was, without a doubt, a waste of time and misleading. Be more respectful in your asks.

ADP: it's a great place to work, however the bad apples who's work I see is appalling that they get praises, and the grunts who get stuck working on it are never recognized we just are told to do the work.

Asurion: I have enjoyed working here, they took care of me during covid when everyone I knew was getting dumped by their workplaces, however I see layoffs happen and it makes me question the safety of my position, which leads me to shopping around for other employment at times even though I want to stay.
Asurion: Until the end of last year, it's been wonderful - positive, fun, exciting, the investment in the HQ and our people has been amazing! Now, I feel like we are floundering and aren't sure of our direction. Telling people to come in to work is a questionable strategy to get our "mojo" back.

Builders FirstSource: The good is the training and knowledge availability. When covid started we were deemed essential so we didn't lose work. The bad is layoffs happen while you hear about company profits or new acquisitions of other companies. Reviews happen during slow season and its used to not increase pay.

Asurion: 10+ years with no promotion while I have watched other less qualified people get promotions. I hit a ceiling I cant seem to get past. I have to be accountable as well, if I were willing to move to Nashville I am sure I could get promoted.
ArcBest: I liked that we had a couple tries to perfect our online interview, and the option to have the actual interview virtually! Being able to stay at home while interviewing helps keep a calm composure and true personality.

Southwest Airlines: The teams are a mix of people who are simply driven for the next promotion and people who genuinely want to help. The main challenge is they don't really do "roles" and managers are spread thin to appear productive, meaning there is no real mentorship or development.
Builders FirstSource: It ahs been a good company overall to work for. Many changes, mergers, etc. seem to set us back each time.

Asurion: Concerns about using the same approaches over and over to new ventures, when the market has changed drastically. Big concerns over our retail investment but no investment to push brand as a household name (which is CRUCIAL if you expect people to come in to a brick and mortar store).

Builders FirstSource: I have been with company thru bankruptcy, name changes, mergers and different CEOs. I see employment here consistently changing. I was a salaried employee with a higher job title and now I am considered an associate, (without explanation) which creates distrusts.
Asurion: Overall positive with specific areas of challenges to accomplishing goals or a better work environment. In comparison to other companies the environment is much better as a whole.
Asurion: Ever since I started with Asurion it has been a blessing and I feel very comfortable and appreciated
ArcBest: The completion of a large project.
Asurion: No transparency with work- feeling that everyday they can decide they do not need you and you don't matter- even if your score card is green and your SP100 is hitting the mark.
Asurion: It is pretty disgusting that the image of Asurion employees holding "values" of the company at the top of this survey includes folks from the DEI team that were laid off almost a year ago.
Builders FirstSource: I am highly satisfied! I understand we are not perfect, but I enjoy what I do and really enjoy the people with whom I work closely.
Asurion: Working for Asurion based on the story that they share and sell is amazing. Getting to see it broken down and not followed through can be challenging. Meeting in the middle would make this the best place on earth to work!

Asurion: this company has changed my life workwise, it showed me that i can do amazing things and my ideas are valued. When I pull something off I am recognized, having multiple mentors in the company has been a blessing.

I have seen decisions by managers just so a KPO can be checked off a list even though that will be detrimental to our products or process.

Builders FirstSource: It has been fantastic. I got out of the military and started working building loads. My managment team saw my experience in the military and I became a saw yard lead. They gave me a chance shortly after to become yard foreman and then became yard supervisor. My experience has been wonderful.

I'll say that, for such a large org, immediate access to a live person for closer hand-holding w/onboarding benefits (& questions thereafter) & IT issues is minimal & somewhat frustrating. Iron Mountain: Overall I have really enjoyed my tenure at Iron Mountain. That said, my immediate manager has had a lot of attrition on our team and it adds additional stress on to my day to day. I think it should be against company policy to work people over 80 hours a week. I would think a local GM would hire someone to fill the gap.
