Amazon: I can not take a vacation in advance. You have to get a shift to apply. If you are on vacation, you make sure that you have to within 24 hours each day the rest of the day. I want to enjoy my holiday without worry. In my old job, before I retire, I have to apply a month or year in advance.

XPO: To much top down direction, not enough collaboration for success, Training shows the company XPO LTL wants to be and reality is that we can't retain people once hired due to that disconnect. XPO: This particular location is very hard work. Only the best survive it. Only the very best manage to stay longer term. I like the job security and the benefits. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone in my family or friends because the atmosphere can be negative and very stressful.

XPO: As mentioned through out. I do enjoy what I am doing here at XPO. We provide creative solutions to customers. We are challenged within this industry. We do move fast, but I would say that is more market driven.

XPO: It is the nature of Client Support. When you have multiple clients you can get hit from all sides at once. The only way to gain sanity is to have enough people to address the needs of the clients. There just isn't always a balance here.

XPO: Mostly good. I feel that HR does not investigate enough on situations. The 0% tolerance policy does not exist. The pay could be a lot better for what we do and what our bodies go through for the customer.

XPO: Not a bad experience gives people opportunity to grow and progress inside the company but I would like to have more competitive pay. The janitors at my site make more than full timers do and I believe we do a lot more than janitors in our line of work.

XPO: In the last 4+ years, for the most part, have been more positive than negative. I was not happy so many coworkers were furloughed so easily in 2020. I haven't felt as supported at home as I did when I was in the office, but I'm not excited about going to the office either.
XPO: We are a solid competitor in the freight market. However, our service goals have faltered with the linehaul control shift so the customer base does not trust our stated delivery goals. that will hurt us later. We have work to do still.

XPO: I like working it when it is good. But it can be very mixed, positive one day and then negative the next. I like when I am busy and have lots to do as it makes the day go quicker and keeps me interested. There is not much room for progression or to earn more money, so people leave quickly of often.
XPO: On-boarding was very subpar, leadership team has been great to work with, they keep me thinking and challenged every day and I appreciate that.
XPO: The camaraderie we have developed with the leadership of our boss
XPO: In the LTL IT Department the work is extremely fast. Retaining the employees that have the most business and technical knowledge is difficult. Mostly I am satisfied but feel like I can get burnt out quickly.
XPO: Overall, this is a good company, and I have been happy for the majority of my 20 yrs. There are just frontline issues to be addressed, but we don't see the resources available for improvements
XPO: Very good, I have had a lot of great opportunities to grow within the company
XPO: i had very high expectations knowing XPO from years ago but i understand this new division is still in the process to detail the new structure, procedures, etc If all departments could be focused on service excellence the process could be faster, still i'm sure we will reach XPO goals

XPO: I think XPO as a company are a well organised business but when it comes to site level I am not so confident,I have been here a lot of years and in that time have seen many changes but if I am totally honest in the past few years I have seen things decline and not sure if it will ever improve
