I started at my company when i was 18 years old and have working for it for about a year and half. I started with hope and i was proud to be a correctional officer but now i feel from lack of pay and lack of vaction time that i will be staying long. Its hard to wanna work when you live at work.

The most positive thing at my company is the responses to incidents and sometimes staff apprection week thats about it.

My coworkers need to improve there logical thing and planning when it comes to handleing the inmate popluation. Lastly, them and myself need better traing not just sitting down in a room and listening but actually traing our skill set.

The leadership team needs to get better at communicating with us staff and show us theh actually appreciate the effort we put it. The final thing the leadership team needs to do is to come to our breigings and listen to our complaints and concerns with a open mind to change.
Perché ti senti sottovalutato e che cosa ti farebbe sentire meglio con il tuo compenso?
I feel undervalued by the amount of pay we are given hourly. I truly feel if we were to get paid what we deserved ti get paid we wouldnt be so short all of the time. I feel that things such as work incentives and better bonuses would boost performance from all staff members as a whole.
Che cosa sta andando male e come può essere migliorato?
I can speak for most of my Colleagues and say that we feel underpaid and under appreciated by the people running our company. We feel that we are just a body covering a post or that we are completely expendable without remorse. Its hard to want to succeed when you have nothing pushing you to do it.
