Annual compensation adjustments are not adequate when restructuring takes place mid-year. Multiple people took on new roles with more responsibilities and heavier work loads. An annual pay increase adjusted to reflect new roles doesn't provide compensation for the prior six months.

It makes me happy to have trust worthy leadership so I don't spend my days worried about being laid off suddenly. It makes me happy to have leaders and coworkers that are willing to offer assistance when needed. It makes me happy to have clear objectives for my work and recognition for my successes.
