Nothing wrong with my current coworkers it's just the vast vast majority of my work friends were unfairly let go on April and most of the rest have left on their own accord because there's no job security anymore

Outside of the engineering team, more pragmatism, more analysis, less emotion and less politics would be helpful to gaining more participation and more engagement. A variety of people have value to add and the knowledge and expertise is not only at the top.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is no blame culture, everyone has an overall positive attitude even when there are problems. Also you are the owner of most of your deadlines which makes you set your own stress level. Not much micro managing which is good.

Leaders, although really great, could be more trained to handle conflict, be unbiased, and recognise strengths, and be less condemning of weaknesses not directly related to the immediate work at hand.

I feel isolated from the rest of my team, I don't think I'm the only one, I think everyone feels a bit that way. There is also not a lot of growth opportunities in the company if they are not related to new AI tools.

Work we're doing is generally boring and too low level, the product team is not ambitious enough and a lot of bureaucracy worsens it. It could be improved by having a strong product team.
