Absolutely love FMB, the people here, and the culture. This is by far the best company I have ever worked for. The only thing I would change is continuing to expand the remote work environment and evaluate long term employee's salary to ensure they are being paid fairly.
Love FMB and the culture. The pay is the only real downside.
Love working at FMB. Every company has positives and negatives; but the positives at FMB outweigh the negatives by far. The employees at FMB are the best of any company I have worked for.
I truly enjoy working at FMB. The people are great, and I love the flexibility that I am given in my current role. The Bank encourages volunteering which is also very important to me.
The sense of accomplishment and helping others.
Open communication and trying to engage everyone on the FMB Team.
New management encourages work life balance and taking vacation time away.
Compensation is not in line with what the market is paying.
They are trying to make things better for employees and retain valuable team members.
Compensation is on the lower side of what is generally offered for my role.
Down to earth and talk to everyone as if we are all equal and a team.
Teamwork and collaboration are a large focus, and you can see that through interactions with others.
I love the work that I do and getting to learn more on a regular basis.
I love the role I am currently in. It is challenging enough to keep me engaged and always learning more.
Flexibility and ability to help make a difference. I enjoy that I get to do a wide variety of things daily.
Team members are amazing, and leadership is working to communicate with everyone more often and through different methods such as email, newsletters, etc.
I love my current role and that I am given the ability to make an impact and changes to how we do things.
Newsletter shared with the Bank and Town Halls. It is also great to see leadership out in different locations and talking to other team members.
Flexibility with schedule and location. Understanding that family comes first and we are able to work around schedules for appointments and to attend family events.
We all work together as a team and can depend on each other. We have an open line of communication and help each other when needed.
I am significantly underpaid. I love FMB and don't want to leave but I regularly have recruiters reach out offering $20-$30k more a year for the same job I am doing at FMB.
My executive management team member is open, honest, and checks in to ensure things are going well. While I do not report to him directly, I feel like he cares about the team and our wellbeing.
New management on our team that truly cares about us as individuals and has listed to our concerns about lack of staff and work overload. Leadership is listening and making changes needed to retain long term employees.
I am not being paid a fair market value for the role that I am in. Doing a market comparison and adjustment for all roles, not just those that are the lowest paid would help retain employees.
Current pay is below market value for my role and the amount of responsibility I have. Being paid a fair rate that is in line with other banks our size would make me feel better about staying at FMB long term.
Our team members are all at different locations but we stay in touch via Teams and texting. We all communicate well and genuinely care about each other. The people I get to work with are one of the main reasons I have not left the company yet.
I work with an amazing team that is always willing to jump in and help each other. We are in different locations but communicate daily. This is the first bank I have worked at where we can truly collaborate and work together to make things better.
We are all in different locations, but we all stay in touch daily through Teams. The team is always willing to help each other out and make sure things are done in a timely manner. We have a large team; however, we all still get along and there is no drama or negativity, which is refreshing.
I don't have a team right now but the people at FMB are the #1 reason I stay. This is the first place I have worked where people try to work together and help each other without drama. You get to know the other people on a professional and personal level and care about them as people.
