performative activists who like to parade awards and groups without tactually doing any of the hard work needed to support and keep diverse talent. I'm on my way out.

Allowing Remote work - for now at least
not sure what to put here
Being able to work remotely for a company that I think values me personally and cares about what I need.
pay employees well, make health care affordable, stop bragging about being a billion $ company, but they paying employees poorly, hire and keep women & diverse talent, share diversity numbers - awards for diversity mean nothing if its only white men voting - comon sense people!!
Leaders constantly talk about SPS as a "Billion Dollar Company" etc. But employees do not see benefit. Our medical benefits are worse than ever this year. Took away Christmas Eve HOliday to "look good" by giving MLK holiday. Poor 401k match for employees. Pushing to return to office.
While we can work remote, the environment is better - its less glaring how "not like everyone else" I am when I'm working from home. If forced to go back into the office again, I'll again be the one left at my desk while all the white dudes go to lunch/hh/etc together.
Company brags about how well they are doing, but benefits for employees get more expensive each year & pay increases are 1 or 2% for employees who meet their goals. The company cannot keep women and diverse talent. (its all white men who vote - look at the numbers, not the awards)
I need other people like me. The company does not retain women or people of color, especially in tech. White men are where its at here. Only 5% of employees on my team are women & 0% are POC. It doesn't make me see any hope for the future for different people here.
