In my opinion SPS undervalues their existing talent comparably to those outside the company and considering the complexity and ramp period they miss the mark on retaining or acknowledging the talent they have available

I have found that SPS undervalues employees who continue to advance or shift roles internally versus external hires. When reflecting on the complexity of our business & the long ramp period to be proficient or advanced in particular roles, there is more value in equally compensating an internal hire

In my opinion SPS has undervalued it's existing talent set compared to those they need to attract in the market. This leaves an unfair opportunity for base pay in a role comparatively to those entering from outside SPS for the same role. When you think about the SPS methodology it takes time to ramp
