
De-incentivize escalating minor issues to supervisors, encourage communication, hold accountable staff who do not preform their duties, fully staff facilities or not continue the program.
Reliable scheduling, full staffing, healthy and hygienic work place, accountability for staff and supervisors, merit based raises, reduction in lay off, incentives for exemplary performance, investment in facilities which are not politically motivated.
Mandatory over time, failure to adequately staff, lay offs, increasing low quality of resident behavior, unmotivated or unprofessional staff, increasing work load, stagnant wages and passing the buck to the next person runs rampant. Indifference is the norm.
Staff at the Casper Facility make the same as starting wages, poor performance meets with no correction, exemplary performance meets with no incentive. Rather than hire this facility would rather over schedule staff and pay less than fast food per hour.
This facility requires 4 staff on the work release to function properly at bare minimum. We run with 3, barring call out. This leads to stress, aggression, dissatisfaction and a desire to work elsewhere. No accountability for hostile work place attitudes do not help.
