Overall Carbon is a great place to work. I have felt valued and respected for the knowledge I bring to the table. However, it does operate still very much like a startup and will always be asking you to contribute more before and sometimes without being compensated appropriately.

I have learned so much over the years and really enjoy working at Carbon for the mission, culture and respect.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
That I am paid fairly and I am able to work remote.

I love their sense of humor and camaraderie. Working at Carbon feels like I'm working with family.

They are so empowering and I feel like we are all working together to meet our team and department goals.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like the communication style and transparency Phil and Craig have been showing at CarbonTalks. It feels comfortable and more inclusive for anyone to ask questions or make comments.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love that even when we are facing a mountain of work, my team always attacks it head on and with a positive attitude. I always have someone around to lift me up when things get tough.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am happiest about the new flexibility working remotely since the pandemic started. My desk in the office was noisy at times and it is hard to be an analyst when I can't have quiet time to focus.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture at Carbon is very inspiring because we're making a product that enables others to make a great impact in the world. It is very motivating to be working on this environment and to be doing good in the world.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have been asked to do more and more work, which I have done without question because I am a team player. But I wasn't compensated for the added workload fairly this past spring and so I have been feeling undervalued since then.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all share the same goals to bring additive manufacturing to the mainstream but want to do it in the most environmentally friendly way. It is very empowering to be around so many good people every day and I am proud to work at Carbon.
