Meeting with my teammates and working on projects with them to improve the student experience.
Identifying and promoting talent from within teams. There is nowhere for me or anyone in my position to grow at Chegg, and leadership has only given a vague timeline of "six months" for when we will have growth pathways. That's unacceptable.
The flexible time-off policy is great, as are benefits like stock options. Chegg does a lot to create a positive company culture that values work-life balance, but there are divisions & teams within Chegg where that work-life balance is not possible because of the volume and intensity of workloads.
There is no pay transparency at Chegg, but my team has shared internally & we are highly aware that there is NOT equal pay on our team. An executive also recently stated in an All-Hands that they thought "low income" would be $50K, which is what some of our team members make. This is terrible optics
