The interviewers smiled and asked good questions.
Better compensation and more inclusiveness.
People work hard and want to do good in and out of the company.
Everyone comes from a different background! People are very kind, smart, and compassionate. We are all trying to improve the lives of ourselves and those around us.
Stop the micromanagement, gaslighting, and gatekeeping. Actually lead people and help build them instead of bringing in outside talent. Engage with employees and ask about their goals and aspirations rather than assume.
Too much specialized work that hasn't scaled with compensation. No transparency in stock options and how to acquire more. Other departments and leadership positions have scaled compensation while others haven't. People hear about big employee wins, but stagnation isn't addressed.
Better compensation and stop gaslighting hourly employees for having unlimited PTO when it is a company perk (they also get paid less than other employees). Stop nepotism - it's unfair to hard-working, loyal employees when someone hires a friend for a leadership position that wasn't listed.
Make it more inclusive and listen to everyone. People are very observant and can see how different departments have varying cultures. The t-shirts and gifts are truly thoughtful gestures, but it's not a solution for when people feel burnt out or excluded. Leadership needs to foster employees.
