Paying better and embracing flexibility
The culture is great on individual teams, but as a company it's lacking in many ways. I do not feel like higher ups care about the people doing the work.
Knowing that I will be commuting to an office full of people who are very underpaid and don't want to be there. Improve by giving everyone what they've been asking for: more money and flexibility
Wilmington is no longer a LCOL area and the pay for majority of the positions isn't enough to purchase a home near the office. Increasing the base salary OR allowing remote work would help a lot.
I have to commute 5 days a week to an office I can't afford to live close to. 401k match is poor. I would feel better with a COLA and not having to waste money commuting
Not shifting priorities every 3-6 months. We understand that we need to make customers happy but we need to take the time to update and improve some existing features. Also, in office 5 days a week is burning people out.
Every 6 months we just completely shake everything up. There's always a new VP of something, a new priority, and teams. It's getting pretty old at this point. A market adjustment on salaries and hybrid work are the only thing people care about at this point.
