Paycom: I love Paycom. When I started in 2022, we were able to work from home on in climate weather days. Now that is not allowed mostly, so I always come to work. Those are the worst days because many of my coworkers cannot. This policy sets our most dedicated employees up to have terrible days.

HSN: The work is easy comparded to other fullfillment centers in the area. Management is toxic showing favortism. HR is never reachable, does not answer or return calls and will tell you during orientation that "we are not a family here."
TurboTax: No humanity or support for employees this season. Every single huddle and meeting cancelled. Constant call outs with emoji sirens AHOD. UNTENABLE. 15-30 seconds for after call work. AI estimates it should take 10 minutes to complete return with a new schedule C.

We are surprisingly nimble and while we have clearly defined ways of working, outside-the-box problem-solving is encouraged if it's necessary to close a deal that makes sense for both the customer and Novolex/Shields. Paycom: it's extremely challenging, requiring constant multi-tasking and juggling multiple projects at once. Interactions with clients can be both rewarding and challenging, requiring a lot of de-escalating. It can feel at times like you're not allowed to ask for help, for fear of a hit to KPIs.

UCLA Health: UCLA Health has a longcway to go to fix its crumbling customer service and patient quality of care. I have experienced longterm issues with scheduling appointments and customer service. There seems to be more talk then action the clinic staff continue to shrink and do less.
