
Our ability to come together as a team to get work done within the provided timeframe is admirable - especially when it is such short notice. We continue to demonstrate great qualities that other teams may look up to.
Management seems to view their employees as robots with no personal lives and expect us to uproot and change our daily lives to revolve around work. Unfortunately, this is not sustainable and leads to employee frustration that will never be fixed with pizza.
Since we are often asked to take on extra workload due to the company's understaffing and employee retention issues, being payed for the extra work would help making us feel better about our roles within the company. It would ultimately influence our decision in staying loyal to the company as well.
