I've been told that there's an adjustment time of about a year, year and a half for people who join Appian to feel like they're making meaningful contributions on their team. I found it hard to believe it at first but turns out they are all on point. Can't wait to get past that point.

What are some of the best things about your team?
They are all nice and friendly and helpful but are not afraid to bring up difficult topics for discussion. We collaborate well and do fun things to keep the team cohesive.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I'm learning and being efficient at work, it leaves me with a satisfied feeling that I'm contributing to the success of the company and that I'm worthy of my paycheck.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that my manager tries to involve me in things/meetings that I was insulated from before and I think it's good exposure to me to get a higher level context to things happening not just within the team, but also in the group and I appreciate it.
