In the first 4 months I've been with Appian I've had the most enjoyable experience of my career ever. Whilst my salary isn't the best, the enjoyment of the work and interacting with my colleagues as well as some of the perks that come with going into the office (breakfasts etc.) are awesome.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people are friendly and the facilities / location etc. are outstanding
What makes you most happy at work?
The work I do, having to speak to candidates on a daily basis and articulating Appian's value proposition as an organisation.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Whilst I don't feel undervalued I do feel that for what the market pays (particularly my salary at my previous company) I've taken a significant pay cut
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My leadership team are very open, honest and transparent and whilst I'm sure there are things that they can't always disclose they all keep us informed with as much info as they can.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The work culture at Appian is of the utmost importance so when I hire people, one of the priorities is to make sure we hire not just outstanding skills and experience but good people who are a positive influence to work with
