I have enjoyed being at Assa Abloy so far. I am thankful the management that did took a chance on me and trained me to do things I never thought I was capable of doing. My management has been flexible, kind and understanding with my medical history, I am grateful for them.
Being able to see and interact with my teammates.
Interacting with my coworkers and being able to help my branches.
The helpfulness of my team, and that we can all support each other, answer questions without judgement.
I like my leadership team because they are approachable, therefore make it easy to talk to. They are here for us if we need help, and do what they can to make changes.
My few teammates have been understanding when it comes to my medical history and memory and explaining things to me that we learned starting out without judgement. Otherwise, it can be hard to ask questions.
We are not paid enough for the work we are asked to do on our Team, I believe if we were paid FAIRLY, we could prevent burnout, and even have teammates stay and help others.
The leads and manager that I report to directly are invested in me, building my confidence and ensuring that I can do my job the best to my abilities by providing me with resources to do so.
I enjoy that we do things within our building for the holidays, like recently the Easter Egg Hunt, the Christmas party, the Angel Tree. I wish we could be involved with more volunteer work in our community year round.
My team is great because they are always willing to lend a helping hand. They always lift my spirits when I am down and especially at the end of the month, we all come together and make sure everything gets done.
I believe that we should be compensated fairly for the work we do, when I have seen the same position with different companies that are paid more. Me and the people on my team put in a lot hours, so it would be nice to feel appreciated in that sense.
