In the past couple of months, since the transition, I have seen a drastic shift in the work environment. And that is with me not even working in office. I love the job I do and that is why I stay, but for not getting any benefits there is only so much I can tolerate with the negativity at work.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Helping alleviate a hostile work environment. Repeated issues have been brought up but no resolutions have been made.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Others on my team tend to gossip about everyone on the team. The team lead fosters all this behavior.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Just because I work remotely, I am unable to qualify for any benefits but still contribute more than anyone on my team.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The one close friend I get to express my emotions to. Also to bounce ideas off of one another for possible solutions. Though not heard by upper management.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There is a constant hostility. Errors have been changed from directing it to the person and moved to an entire report instead. We should be able to communicate RESPECTFULLY as a team. Positive communication needs to be worked on. Also, leaving negative thoughts about people inside your own head.
