What are some of the best things about your team?
They live up to the idea of "We take our jobs seriously but not ourselves." It creates a very positive atmosphere.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Restricted Stock Units. By doing a good job in my role it helps Chegg succeed. When Chegg succeeds the RSU gains value which has tangible real life benefits (like helping become debt free).
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Chegg's motto is always "We put students first." The exec team's decisions always live up to that value. One of the ways they put students first is by taking phenomenal care of their employees.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Can't speak for every team but my team is patient with hiring. They won't fill a role with someone unless they are absolutely sure it's the right person. That can sometimes lead to additional work for others temporarily but I prefer that to hiring the wrong person.
What makes you most happy at work?
My role is very dynamic. I feel like there are times where I'm learning a lot, exploring new things, stretching myself. Others where I work on things I'm an expert on and passionate about. And other times where you have to put your head down and just get a bunch of stuff done.
