it used to be fantastic but now it's awful. in 5 years never once has our leadership said you are doing a good job thank you, or asked what can we do to help. If they don't care enough o talk to the people why should the people care about the company?

Umm pay me more maybe I wouldn't need to look for a second job.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Outside of my department, PICK UP THE PHONE! we are too invested in do a ticket we have lost the ability to communicate.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
have your middle managers understand that they are leaders as well. Stop saying Shit rolls down hill and they push issues down hill that they created.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Communicate, maybe the boys at the top should listen to the rank and file, not some middle manager who is nothing but an order taker. Get engaged with your people and stop using surveys that only ask certain questions.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Around this bank they need to learn how to use a telephone. We have lost the ability to communicate, all we do is send a ticket, fill out a form etc... Talk to someone you might find you solve an issue in 2 min and not 5 days
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to get real about compensation, we hire people who know nothing and pay them much more than people who are here now. We do nothing for the current employee to raise their wages, If you want an example how does a 1.75% pay raise keep up with 9% inflation, how is that helping you prosper?
